Developmental Biology
Developmental biologists investigate the processes of growth and differentiation from a single cell to a complex multicellular organism. Laboratories in the School of Biological Sciences study developmental genetic control of morphogenesis, neurogenesis, organogenesis, and the evolution of developmental mechanisms using plant and animal models.
