How has your participation in the Bioscience Program had an impact on your career?
The Bioscience Undergraduate Research Program was my first introduction to research. The Bioscience Undergraduate Research Program helped me find a research mentor and taught me how to do research so I could be more of an asset starting out in lab.

What advice would you give current students who aspire to follow a similar career path?
Find out if going to medical school is what you really want do- and if it is- pursue it whole-heartedly. Don't be afraid to ask for guidance, and don't think for any reason it's something you can't do.

What accomplishments are you most proud of (professionally and/or personally)?
Professionally, I most proud of getting accepted in to medical school as it has been a dream of mine for so long. Personally, I am most proud of qualifying for the Olympic trials and going.

What do you enjoy doing with your free time?  Family?  Hobbies?  Interests?
I enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, playing with my dog, and hanging out with my friends and family
