You are competing with students throughout the country for a limited number
of positions. You may be a good candidate and a wonderful person. Generally
speaking, the applicants with the higher GPA and DAT scores are accepted
first. If you are above the level of acceptance for a school, then many
other factors are taken into consideration. We have had students who have
had low DAT scores or low GPA who have been accepted, but these individuals
are the exception.
