Pharmacological study of ligand-gated and voltage-gated ion channels
Neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors
AMPA-type glutamate receptors
Voltage-gated calcium channels

PUBLICATIONS

My research involves the pharmacological study of ligand-gated and voltage-gated ion channels involved in function and disorders of the mammalian nervous system. I am especially interested in neuronal nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, AMPA-type glutamate receptors and voltage-gated calcium channels. Currently, I am using fast-scan cyclic voltammetry to study the regulation of catecholamine release by nicotinic receptors in specific regions of mouse brain.
