News

  • Damon Toth, Giao Huynh, and Courtney Davis presented posters at the SMB Annual Meeting in Vancouver, BC, CA. Courtney won a Best Poster Prize in her session. The attendees caught up with former post-doc Jon Forde at the conference.
  • Chris Remien participated in a few geology short courses, research projects, and safaris in Africa.
  • Erica Graham visited researchers at the University of Minnesota studying cystic fibrosis-related diabetes.
  • Sean Laverty participated in fieldwork with the Dearing Lab and gave a talk at the International Meeting of the WDA in Blaine, WA, US.
  • Former student Amber Smith earned a PhD and left for a post-doctoral position at Los Alamos National Laboratories with Alan Perelson.
  • Former student and post-doc Brendan O'Fallon left for a post-doctoral position at the University of Washington with Joe Felsenstein.
